Disabling Desktop Composition for Fallout 4
So, shortly after starting up Fallout 4, Windows interrupts my game and asks if I want to change the Aero theme to basic theme. Despite selecting the option for Windows to not change the theme and to not mention this again, it will still pop up every single time I launch the game. I have tried a lot of things to make the message not pop up, but I could not get it to stop. The only thing I can think of now is to disable desktop composition for Fallout 4 so it will be already using the basic theme. The only problem now is that the disable desktop composition option is greyed out in Fallout 4's properties. I LITERALY CANNOT ESCAPE THIS HELL!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Does anyone else have the option to disable it? If so, do you know how I can make the option not greyed out?

I am also having the same issue. The option to 'Disable desktop composition' is grayed out. It has always been available in my other Steam games.

I'm assuming that because the game is so new, the application simply doesn't allow the desktop composition to be toggled. Hopefully, someone has a way to change that.

Compatibility Settings are unavailable for 64-bit applications.

Unfortunately, it looks like there's no 32-bit version of Fallout 4. The store page says it requires 64-bit Windows, which usually means it's 64-bit software.
