And, I know generator noise is an issue to Settler happiness. t I think the windmill is completely silent. So if you only want power for a Recruitment Beacon and some lights, parking one on the roof of your bunkhouse is possibly more efficient than building a separate building for a generator.

My setters don't mind the noise, I've tested that on more than one occasion.
They don't even mind stroboscopic light effects at night...
Yea sure it would be annoying in real life but it doesn't hurt it the way the game is setup
Well, this *is* a game - but making a solar panel isn't easy or cheap. You need some pretty specilaized equipment and skills. And panels don't last - 30 years tops.
lol they don't have any game models for that!
Also pls don't applied logic in this game.
