Workshop menu bug, missing construction options

I'm playing FO4 as usual when suddenly some of the building options have disappeared.
As in: I open the workshopmenu, scroll to the right, and select resources. But there is only water and miscellaneous, no food.

Have anyone else experienced this problem?

Hmm, yes that might be a cause. But I was playing a good couple of hours with the mods installed without any complications.

I will try removing them.

Removing the mods made no difference. Options are still missing

To remove them properly you have to delete the entire data folder then verify game files.

You mean, that I have to remove the Fallout 4 folder from the steam folder?

No, go to Steam>Steamapps>Common>Fallout4>Then right click Data and delete it.

I deleted the Data folder, verified integrity of game cache, reaquired the data folder, booted FO4.

But there is still no option to "construct" food.

many things in game change the menu while you are in game. For example collecting Picket Fences Magazines, actually gives you entire new categories to build with. Also there are limits to the amount of categories you can have, installing too many Workshop affecting mods at once that do not have the Settlement Keywords Mod and Patches, often will use up all your Category slots and remove some of your menu building options. Also at times your menu will be changed, because you do not have the needed building materials, or perks, if you do not have the perks many times the entire category simply vanishes. Please see my Fallout 4 User Guide for further details, tips, tricks and Mod Training. Note: Joining certain factions like the Institute, or others, and in game actions can add or remove menu building options, and supplies, it is most likely that you are not experiencing a bug at all, it is stupid mechanics that no one ever told anyone about. My Recommended mods list is made primarily for people that like to build Settlements, enjoy.

Under "Main Files" on the download page, download and install "Universal Missing Menu Fixer". Load your game and wait 60 seconds, then open your settlement interface. All menus should be restored. Once the fix is complete the mod can be safely removed.

Sorry for the late reply but, this didn't work for me. Still trying to find a fix.

Sorry for not replying sooner: I never had a bug, I was trying to build in the underground lair and it had some of the menu items blocked off.
