I quite like her character and shes the 'next' companion I want to work with for her perk and I like swapping them around, but her accent is cringe level 3. Shame too the attitude/personality they gave her is a nice touch.

ah wellllll.

It takes a while but you get used to the accent but Cait is definitely one of the more interesting companions and definitely the best female one. Piper and Curie are pretty flat in comparison.

I dont know who Curie is yet(I shall find out no need to say) but Piper isnt too bad, though its a bit like a huckleberry finn adventure with her in tow. 'Oh whats that for' everytime you loots!

i prefer it over the cheesy american dialogue

And ye the dialogue she has is good, its just her accent. Americans probably cant notice, but any Irish or British players Im sure can, its quite grating how 'fake' it is. But alas what can ya do

Yup. My problem with those accents is when I hear them it takes me a while to work out what accent it is supposed to be, then I realise "Oh, it's an American 'Irish' accent".

Cait's accent>Piper's accent

The voice actor is Scottish, but yeah it's pretty bad at times. It actually sounds Irish, but it goes back and forth from like a West Irish to Northern Irish accent, so inconsistent.

Probably only Irish people that would notice this though.

I'm amazed no one has picked up on the British robots accent yet in Macready's bar.

You think Cait's is bad ^^

But thats meant to be comical, the old stiff upper lip english butler accent. I assumed its a robot in 'butler' mode, caits a real person with a real accent :p

Haven't met her yet, but as long as she doesn't say, "Faith and begorrah," I'm okay with whatever she sounds like. We've American but have relatives across the globe, from Ireland to Canadian Irish immigrants to American Irish immigrants to Kiwis. When we're all in a room it's a mixed bag of accents anyway. :D

Gerard Butler, Billy Connolly. Americans do seem to think the Scottish accents are close enough to Irish that they're effectively indistinguishable. (I'm impressed I managed to spell that right on my first try)

I am Scottish and I've never heard anyone that sounds like either Billy Connolly or Gerard Butler. No one sounds like that here :D , they have been living away from Scotland too long.

No, I meant Gerard Butler played an Irish guy in the Notebook? and Billy Connolly played an Irish guy in The Last Samurai.

To be fair if you watched the notebook accents are the least of worries
