Jack Cabot Disappeared? Help!

So, i have finished the quest of Cabot House and now after all the stuff Jack told me to come back after a week and he would have shown me something. Now i can't find him anywhere, and the quest "Speak with Jack Cabot" in Miscellaneous points to a random place near Saugus Ironworks, which has nothing to do with him! What can i do? Is there some command maybe to make him appear again?

did you try gonig back to the asylum ?
It said go back to his home but for me he just stayed in the asylum

Some kind of bug, i see him travelling around Boston, looking for trouble, killing raiders and super mutants, i think he just lost his mind after i killed his "super dad" in his home:D

Yeah i had the same as poster #1, it said go to his home but he was still in the Asylum

Same issue here. Went to home, full search, went to asylum full search. The quest marker has me going to the middle of the lake outside of the the asylum. This one is definitely broken; can't find Jack any where as yet.

Bring down the console
Input 47ec2.moveto player

Well that moved the quest pointer, thank you. Not sure what else to do now. I left the house, came back... sat on the couch for 4 hours... No Jack :)

i have a marker outside of the forge past the fence in a wooded area just south of the asylum.. no where to be found

Talked to a coworker, they said they had the same problem. They found him randomly walking around Boston. I've not had that luck as yet.

I also found a few other commands to the one above which is suppose to move Jack to you, you can also move to Jack by changing it to "player.moveto 47ec2"

However that didn't work for me either. For now, I just assume this side quest is broken.

i found him killing raiders outside of the asylum, wouldn't start a speech option with me, would just one line me and then back to running after raiders... im guessing its broken

After I used: "47ec2.moveto player" to move Jack into his house. I disabled and reenabled jack with "47ec2.disable" followed by "47ec2.enable" and Jack turned visible and started walking around. I was then able to complete the quest. Hope this helps anyone else who gets stuck with this bug

the .moveto player also helped on following: On the way to the asylum he always got stuck at one of those random cars laying around, and stopped walking.

after the quest jack gets old and will justs wonder around the commonwealth, just go to the quest marker and see if he is there

You don't understand, Dark. The quest and the mob for the quest gets broken :) The people here are trying to find a fix when it breaks. Glad it worked for you, but it doesn't work for everyone.
