Does anybody actually keep wearing the vault suit?

Just wondering. All the pictures of Lone, male or female, that you see in loading screens or online have him/her still in the vault suit, but I never wear it. I'm usually wearing the Silver Shroud suit. Man, that's one side of the game that was vastly unexplored. I would love to play the game out towards seriously becoming the shroud instead of having it be one tiny little bit.

I guess it's kinda on topic, sort of. Still, that was me saying I was done being drawn into it myself, I'm not gonna try to stop other people talking about it.

Oh I am wearing the vault suit now. I got so high level using power armor was OP. I got some armor with buffs on. I still feel pretty OP with that stuff on.

if you have atlas sumit redux or limia detachment you can grab and enclave suit which is litterly just the black bos jumpsuit with a new name

It mostly depends on the character, but speaking generally most of them wear it initially, but swap it out later on for various reasons. Either to avoid identification as a vault dweller (after several negative encounters), or simply because they don't have any real attachment to the clothing.

I mean, there is always the option to buy the official ''Vault Suit Customization'' Mod from Creation Club and save yourself from all the hassle of killing NPC's and cheesing the AI just for one clothing item. Best black tight fit body suit in the game and you can even remove the vault numbers.

Not a heavy creation club buyer myself but hey, Fallout 4 is such a well crafted game that spending 5-10$$ more for it is no big deal.

I picked that up when it was offered as a free sample one time. It's still not competing with ballistic weave on defensive numbers, but it's nice to have the choice of appearance anyway.

Yes, I know about the Creation Club Vault suit colors creation. I use some CC items, the backpacks, armor colors, X-02 PA and Zetan Arsenal. They all work perfectly. But I have no interest in having different colors of the Vault suit, I would if one color was black. :)

Thanks, But I have no interest in using outsource mods. I only use built in game ones or from Creation Club creations.

EDIT: Yes, the Legend of Vault 88 can be customized, and you're able to change both the colour and the number (no number or 1-120) of a vault suit.

Thanks for looking that up for me. That Vault suit can be worn under other armor pcs. I checked out a YouTube video on that CC item and I am not so sure the black one is as black as Brandis's suit is. Also, Brandis's suit is totally black.

But still, the stats on the special one you get from the Vault 88 quest, is very nice to have.
However, not sure if I will get that CC item or not. Maybe if it goes on sale or is free. But the normal cost of 200 credits is pretty cheap anyway. Will have to think about it.

Lol. I did not know it ether. And I just found out this morning, there is a black Pipboy too on the CC. The Children of Atom one. So I got that, looks great with a black outfit.

The Legend of the Vault suit, once it is upgraded to the max, has some really nice stats for undergarment. Plus the +15% reduction to damage from ghouls.

I am just not sure how the black suit will look. But I think I will get it anyway. 300 credits. If I can not afford 3 bucks, I should sell my computer so I can eat. :P

There's also an "onyx" paint for the Pipboy, which is just a simple black.
