Well, I mean, as much as anybody can be. Since the Shroud is a fictional character, I guess anybody who has the suit and does the job is close enough for a post-apocalyptic world.
If you mean in real life, yeah, I wouldn't want to do that either. He gets shot too much. I'm not like other people. I don't like pain. It hurts me.
It's kind of nice that there's one jumpsuit that has a legendary effect (Legend of Vault 88), but even then, reduced damage from ghouls isn't really worth the trade-off.
Ehhh, do you mean the Marine armor from Far Harbor? Or are you confusing that with the Creation Club Mercenary set?
Now the non-power armor builds tend to wear something I can layer armor on top of. So wind up often in road leathers, military uniforms, etc Something functional and usually with some stat bonuses (primary focus on end + str bonuses with armor tweaked for the build)
Then try and get a black BoS jumpsuit as soon as possible, because who doesn't like black?
I've played around with mixing them sometimes using workbench scrapping glitches.
