How do I produce and recieve purified water?
I have several industrial water purifiers made and all generators are on, don't have trade route perk yet and my friend tells me purified water gets deposited into the red workbench. Nothing's there after hours of play, and I made sure theres nothing classified under "aid" in the workbench to interfere with the deposit. Could anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong and why I'm not getting purified water? I was hoping to use it to heal myself.

You need to collect empty bottles around the wasteland and store them in the workshop, settlers will use them for purified water

Are you at the same settlement as the purifiers? Did you make sure when highlighting the purifier that the power symbol isn't red? They have high power requirements.

Try sleeping 72 hours and check again.

You don't have to collect empty bottles, I don't use the Industrial Purfier, but the smaller one. Mine do get collected and deposited into my workshop.

You don't need bottles but your water requirements for the settlement needs to be lower than what you actually produce. More you produce vs how much required for the settlement, the more purified water you receive per day.

why would you fill beer bottles with water? should they not be refilled with beer from the brewery station? :)

No, you don't any empty bottles. I have more than 5 industrial purifiers in my home base, and it gives me 100+ bottles of water per day, I am rich

I have more industrial water purifiers then people, so unless they drink enough to explode I don't know where it's going. Maybe it's glitching?

Theres certainly some kind of bug or moronic 'feature' placed that causes production to not work under various conditions. I have seen it claimed that having too many items in the workshop inventory stops the automatic production of everything in the settlement.
