Input lag now??
Hey, I was playing earlier and it seems like there is some lag time between my mouse and the movement on the screen... The thing is that there was no lag time when i first started playing a few days ago. Im not sure what changed and i was trying the edits to the .ini file most people suggested to do already to no avail. Any help is appreciated, thanks

it's probably v-sync. Turn it off by changing iPresentInterval to 0 instead of 1 in the fallout.ini. You can then cap the fps (if you want to) to 60 in nvidia control panel. Also, if you get screen tearing, turn on Fast V-Sync in the control panel. It has a lot less input delay than regular v-sync.

iPresentInterval is broken with the update.

Read here for a list of common problems and solutions. Info on iPresentInterval is at the very end of it.

this is great i had a feeling this is what happened and the list of everything else makes sense with what i have been experiencing. Can't thank you enough
I promise u if u follow this method u be good
This 100% fixed everything for me lag low locked fps etc
So u do need the load accelerator mod
After u download that place the files in the fallout 4 directory with the exe
Then open the .ini u just placed an look for the ingamefps cap
Put that at 60-72 i use 72 an locks my fps at 72
After u do all that go to the nv control panel ( THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART) switch yur vsync to FAST vulkan/open gh present method to prefer native
An the switch virtual reality pre rendered frames to 3 or 4 i use 4 ( yes this setting can also work for not virtual reality game )
An turn low latency mode on
After u do all that u should be good to go. Doing this method got rid of the werid fps cap that locked my fps to 55 1/3 of my refreshrate
An gave me overall better performance.

I have the same, all of a sudden I have input lag, while yesterday and the whole month before that, the game ran perfectly fine. Nothing helps, rebooting also didn't fix the issue.

Then you need to check your computer for the update that may have changed settings, or your video card drivers. Roll them back if they just updated.
