Thanks to the NG update breaking mods, there is NO guarantee that a mod pack is going to work!
Modpack are an assembly of mods put together by the pack creator from OTHER peoples mods. Even if the mods are updated to NG, its up tot he pack creator to ensure their pack is NG compliant - not the mod creators.
Many Modpack are throw together and then abandoned by their makers... making modpacks dangerous and frustrating right now.
common mistake is downloading huge housing mods as an example, takes ages to load up crafting menu and you barely end up using so much as half of whats in there in the end.

modlists are great for ideas for you own mod collection but they always have stuff you dont want.
theres no way around compiling your OWN modlist to get the most out of fallout 4.
