Do you think that the Institute ending is canon?
After the fallout 4 TV show, most people have been saying that either the minuteman or brotherhood ending are canon since we see the Prydwen in the show. However there is a few things to consider:

1. What if all these brotherhood members we saw are actually synths that replace real brotherhood members?

2. The institute was struggling with energy in the events of fallout 4. So I feel like they would be super interested in that cold fusion device everyone was after.

3. I find it kinda of illogical that any other faction even stands a chance againt a faction that has mastered teleportation.

Doesn't the Prydwen (if it's the same Prydwen) get destroyed in the Institute (and Railroad) endings?

I personally believe that the Minutemen ending is canon. But ONLY if it's also canon that the Sole Survivor exiled (or killed :D) Preston Garvey for being annoying af. Otherwise, Railroad.

After the quest "The Molecular Level" over 20% of players abruptly stopped playing the story.
I haven't seen anyone on YouTube who discussed the story of Fallout4 further after the quest "The Molecular Level".

I can only agree with the official outro cutscene from Bethesda, so there is no specific ending. SO FAR, that means:
Fallout 4 needs a remake reboot.
Fallout 4 ends in such gibberish that it never motivated a sequel.

Compare "FO3" and "Days Gone". In my opinion there is only one correct and logical ending. Anyone who discusses a different ending has not understood the game, period.

But Fallout 4 has NO ending. It's a COZY game.

don't pull the loose threads. the whole thing unravels at the slightest touch.

BoS's entire mandate is to collect, catalog, and hoard dangerous technology... as if they'd blow up the Institute... you are all now Acolytes and Scribes, or you will be put to death where you stand. Choose.

RR gets jacked at every turn, every safehouse slaughtered, but one cryo-frozen human can turn the tables? Come on. Even with Father helping you, when endless synths could just relay in to the battle? In a war of attrition, there's no winning against infinity troops no matter how unskilled.

As if the institute wouldn't have safeguards for an above-ground attack anyway, a surface detonation likely wouldn't even crack a wall... BoS JUST got here, maybe some of their exploratory teams found some Mark 28s prior, but Institute has been here for generations and send out synths daily... they'd have known and recovered enough nukes for a defense.

Don't. Pull. Threads. Take it as it's presented and just roll with it. :possession:

If you think:
In the REMAKE REBOOT, should the Institute ending be the official ending ?

“Fallout 4 Remake-Reboot” has to tell, especially very REPRESENTATIVELY, why there is no longer a government on the east coast.
Why no one on the East Coast can proclaim a government and establish an administrative authority.

see:
South Park Joining the Panderverse 2023
Video: south park handyman apocalypse scenes
(deutsch: wiki/Fachkräftemangel)
logic: the Handyman crisis makes sense to tell.

maybe it can be explained:
Fluoride as a neurotoxin. Americans use neurotoxins to clean their teeth.
or: PFAS, which also had an effect, for example at a young age wiki/Alzheimer%27s_disease

No ending of any game and all endings to every game are canon. They emphatically stated this with respect to New Vegas and the Prime show. Everything that comes after the games (TES too) will never mention the ending(s) of any prior games. There is no discussion to be had here. Whatever you played, that's canon, done.

I'm afraid I don't take anything of the ending of teh show as canon. Fallout 4 is more canon (whatever ending) than the show.
If they make a good Fallout 5 then I will consider how that begins as the canon ending for Fallout 4.
