How do you get the Freefall Legs without gliches or cheats?

I'm posting this discussion as a next to last resort. Every single walkthrough that I've found online is of how to get them by abusing the game engine. If this thread doesn't produce any results, I'm just gonna give up and spawn them in. Please help.

The Freefall Legs are located at highest point of the interior of the Mass Fusion building in a room on the 28th floor, inaccessible to the player unless they are currently using a set of power armor with a jet pack equipped. They are also accessible if the player uses a glitch with a trashcan at the bottom floor, to slide up the walls.

just got me a pair of "acrobats" which has the same effect.

With a jetpack and a ton of Jet? If you're talking about the impossibly small ledges, that's intentional and the only way to reach them.

You should in theory be able to use Nuka Cola Quantums and Roasted Mirelurk to Jetpack into the Mass Fusion building Elevator, then Jetpack some more to find them. It's effectively the same as abusing the pysics to gecko up the building but without actually using a "Glitch"

I have a jetpack and am only able to get to the area below the room with the fusion core.

Free fall legs are same as acrobat legs. Which drop from legendary enemy often.

The effects don't stack properly, as far as I'm aware, and add up to 75% instead of 100%.

can't confirm. i've yet to find a heigth where i take damage.

Thanks for the help guys, but the video that Scarecrow posted is still just abusing the game engine. If that's the only way to do it then the legs probably aren't even worth the effort.

I can confirm you will get same effect with acrobat.

The video is the only legit way to get it. There is no other way up to that area. Seems to me, it was intended to be a hidden area, only accessable using the jet pack in such a way.

Just because it isn't easy to get to in a single jump, does not mean you are using an exploit to do so.
