Is there a way to sell power armour frames?
I have so many. It's kind of getting to be a problem.

Unfortunately not, I don't understand why you can't do this or scrap them. I think the only way you can get rid of them is by abandoning a frame in the middle of hostiles humans, and leaving the fusion core inside so enemies will attempt to use it. Any enemy that gets inside the frame and dies wearing it will likely remove that frame from the game, since you can't reclaim it from dead enemies.

You can tell your companions to use the power armor, and possibly people in the settlements (haven't tried the settlements yet). I don't think you need a fully charged core in them either, so one with single digit percent left, should power the armor for the NPC.

Imagine walking into a settlement with six power armored guards. :steamhappy:

Settlers leave armour when performing duties such as gathering, guarding or when the player leaves the cell

It's a matter of them not being programmed to have power armor rotation in their ai packages, your companions have ths so it shouldn't be a problem.. however, they will leave it if you're away for too long.

Will provisioners abandon power armor at some point too? Or would they wear it indefinitely until told to get out?

I've never had them leave it, however, it still doesn't mean it's in their rotation and I'd have to test this further to really give a positive answer.

As Scarecrow helpfully stated, the AI isn't accustomed to wearing PA, so you can expect them to probably walk away in it and abandon it at some point down the line

That's basically what'll happen, Provisioners only have one definite path to one place, and to another, even though I've never seen them personally leave it the NPC's themselves will end up leaving it since Companions do when you're away for too long.

And god help them if they wear power armour while going through a body of water

I've seen that happen to a raider, more specifically the one near that bridge, the boat next to said bridge.
I was sniping him, and he ended up falling in the water.
