Preston Garvy stuck beyond reach.

I was playing with Preston Garvy before my "Castle" mission and I accidentally hit him so hard that he flung of the map where you can't get. Now, I went to nexus and found out how to disable borders but, if I try to reach him which is way past the borders the game crashes. And I can't complete the mission. Any help?

The thing is, I had a previous save but, it's way the heck back before I started doing Minutemen quests.

Theres a way to move NPC's with console commands im pretty sure but i cant remmeber off the top of my head, might have to search it up (I will look now for you) EDIT* ref id is 0001a4d7

I've tried to "placeatme" but that just spawns another dupe of him.

hmm Idk man, you can keep looking around for move commands or just re load save.

1) Go do the BHOS questline instead
2)Enjoy your game

prid 1a4d7
moveto player

He's off helping settlements.

there's a mod on nexus that adds a bat text file for each companion into your game
all you need do is then open the console, and type

bat preston (then hit enter)
bat preston (then hit enter)

and he'll be teleported to your side
VERY handy for al companions, at times :)

note need to do the command twice, as I noted
