It does, but it is a seperate meter, to the right of your health meter. It looks way diffrent from what you see with no Power Armor on. Answered already.
Yes, it does. That is the read out in the armor telling you how much radiation you are exposed to. It has the same effect as when the rads are displayed when not wearing armor
I'm level 30 with 20+ cores in my storage. If you lack cores, maybe you should explore and level a bit more, before going to the glowing lands.
Well thats not a good way in my opinion
When me an cait go radscorpion hunting or uncovering map locations we wear power armor. But, if you have a decent set of weapons an can take down most enemies before they touch you, then yer all set with jus hazmat.
But you can get free Hazmat suits...
Anything else is overkill
This will make Jon's (MATN) Fallout 4 yolo run all too easy :(
You can craft them, no need to cheat.
Yep. Most opposition in the Glowing Sea is melee-focused, so if you're not, you have a substantial edge there. Just can't let radscorpions get the drop on you and tunnel right next to you, but in such a case most armor doesn't help against the poison damage, anyway.
Might also be noted that there's a number of locations in the Glowing Sea and rads magically don't accumulate when you fast travel in/out, so if you're in trouble you could always fast-travel back to a settlement w/ a clinic to remove your rads or buy more Rad-X/Rad-Away and then fast-travel back to a POI. The rads are mostly on the surface; IIRC, there's no location there where you can be deep inside a POI far from fast travel and still be heavily irradiated.
X-CELL is needed to raise CH-1 to CH-16 (best trade prices possible) at low levels (1-5).
