I picked up a Lever Action Rifle that requires .45-70 from a Mirelurk in the mission in Goodneighbor with Bobbi. From Google search it sounds like this ammo will be available in the Far Harbor DLC.

I am questing in Far Harbor now and have picked up 3 lever action rifles...the 45-70 IS the amo used for this weapon.

wrong. they have added .45-70 in far harbor dlc.

also the phrase is help ".45-70" 4 ammo to get the id number

I know they added it in FH DLC, but the code he put was for New Vegas and not FH DLC for Fallout 4.
The Fallout 4 Far harbor id is
0302c8b1.
I got the code myself from using player.inv. I tested it, and it works 100%.

The baseID for .45-70 in F4 is xx02c8b1, where the leading xx is a two-digit number dynamically generated from your load order. Typically, it should be 03 - meaning, 0302c8b1. This is based on the standard load order; if you've moved the DLC around in that load order (which you probably shouldn't!), "03" might not work for you.

So you'll want to type player.additem 0302c8b1 #, replacing the # sign with the quantity you want.
