Probably thats whats left on the runway but i get where ya coming from.
But there is alot of unlogical stuff for example when you go to the exact place where the nuke hit that you see while you are on the elevator there is only a small ass crater with buildings standing around it.
Are you sure that bomb missed? There is a very important military site there it makes sense that area was a target.
It missed..if not, there would not be big skyscrapers still standing downtown..im pretty positive it missed a exact target lock on boston..as another poster said, it went southwest, thus creating the glowing sea...and yea...those craters were from smaller nukes(probably like previous poster said..tactical)
The thing that really bothers me is the lack of windows on the skyscrapers and their really ugly color palette, baby blue and orange. Absolutely tasteless.
Agreed..maybe some great modders will fix them in the future..i know there are some really skilled ones out there..
They were able to create mini fusion reactors so its not that far off they could safely power a plane of that size with less space, they were already using them in cars. Probably why they could put seats in the wings since there would be no need for fuel. The color palette is pretty common for a 50's era setting.
don't forget that most of the blast would have been contained underground
The airport is right on the waterfront, explore it a bit, use your imagination and then you can envision where the runways once were.
Ps: whether the bombs hit boston or not; ada specifically states that Boston did not take a direct hit.
