Far harbour - stuck in a lift vault 118

Upon trying to exit the lift just doesnt go anywhere, any fixes?

I had to re-load the game from the last save point and it was ok for me after that

Tends to bug. Remember to save before zoning.

it should have auto saved when u entered the lift, reload

For me, the autosave tended to bug. I always manually save.

That happened to me too. Had to Ctrl Alt Del to get out. But I went to an autosave and it worked.

possible fix, worked for me after some tries: go inside the elevator, push the button and quickly go out again, wait a bit, open the elevator again, go inside and just close the elevator doors, dont push the button, the screen then should go black and the elevator moving

An alternative would be to open console (~) and type "centeroncell CliffsEdgeHotelExt". Might appear to freeze for a few moments but you'll appear outside in front of the hotel.

Fast travel somewhere for companions to rejoin you. Probably the easiest and most reliable fix if you forgot to mess about with saves

A necro-thanks for letting me avoid spending any more time with those annoying Vault 118 tincans. They could have done so much more with that Vault

Worked for me! I am playing in survival mode, so couldn't quicksave before entering the lift and didn't want to use console command, so thank you very much!

I cant get out of the Vault 118 either, anytime after i travel with the elevator I get a black screen.
When I run centeroncell CliffsEdgeHotelExt I get a black screen either.
Any idea ?
Fast Travel from that black screen doesn't solve the issue either.

Solved by resetting teh timescale to default value 20
I have never messed with teh timescale tho I havent even considered that could be teh issue.
