I would recommend against starting FO4 again not because there is anything wrong with the game, it's just I fear that you will take peoples advice to do so and then blame them when you find the results less than satisfactory. So, it's better to just avoid all the controversy and move on to another game (and forum.)

This is just my opinion which you did request.

I keep one for all my IRL friends and SP games (happen to own some co op games there too) and i dont add anyone i dont know IRL on it.

ON this account, all i have are randoms added that i play MP games with. Also i dont have my credit card added to this account, just my paypal.

You know, its a matter of privacy. and super easy this way (Since its free to create multiple accounts) to keep track.

Yep, nothing is more fun with working at your first pipe rifle, but i suggest to not let Preston leave the museeum :)

At least i didnt in my current play through. I am planning to stay in sanctuary till i can conquer spectacle island, then i raze down sanctuary send the nuka cola guy there together will all ex companions and release preston to rott in sanctuary..while i never set a foot in there again ^^

since its an open sandbox, besides the obvious main story quests needed to get certain things in the game or accessing areas, the world is you're oyster. There is plenty to do. I found I enjoyed starting FO4 again with a completely new build starting out. Some of FudgeMuppet's videos on youtube give some great suggestions for builds as well as a little RP background. For me starting out with no gear and surviving the game with a melee, unarmed, pistol or rifle and/or big guns build was satisfactory to me.

I think after awhile the only thing I hated about starting over and over again was dialogue and quests or going to Fort Hagen to kill Kellogg for the 5th time. It got pretty redundant.

My last play through was an assassin/sneak build with melee weapons, (knives, swords etc.) I ended up just picking up bobbleheads and magazines. Decided to do Dunwich Borers at level 5 and I now have Kremlin's Tooth. It was a challenge to get in, but after getting the legendary weapon, I was killing things twice my level pretty fast with it. I think she is level 14 now and still collecting mags. I haven't bothered with the main story or anything else yet. I think by level 25ish I'll have all the bobbleheads and mags.

So starting over can be fun. It was for me at least.

There are both +'s and -'s. Depends how much time u have in your last character. I have over 1100+ hrs in mine so it would be hard for me. But if you like playing different builds of characters or like me my first run was without any mods. Just console commands when needed then starting over would be fun because it would almost be a new game. I'm just waiting to get all the achievements and then I will start using mods. Sorry I couldn't give a clear cut + or - .

No, you probably shouldn't.

Only start another game IF

You haven't seen every ending with every faction
You haven't seen all the good DLC (not the Settlement stuff...that adds little to the actual game...)
You have a very different build idea from your last one (because after a Gunslinger build my first time through, the axe-weilding Raider maniac was VERY different!)

I have 4 characters, all different builds.

I am strong considering starting a new play through and doing Nuka World before starting any Minuteman quests. It would be nice to know if that will be ok or not. Like will Preston be friendly and things like that.

Will it ruin any of the settlement quests? All those sorts of things.

I started a new playthrough and let preston leave this time, cause you need him for the better ending, thier is a trick to make 3 outta 4 factions friendly when the storyline ends.
