Mags-Black & William-Black Conversation Stuck

My Conversation when talking to them the first time for the quest where you need to talk to the three leaders gets stuck after both spoke one line.
Like i cant do ANYTHING besides reloading my save.
I tried resetting the AI with "resetai", waiting outside for days, but that doesnt seem to do anything because they stand at the same place inside the parlor 24/7

Any solutions?

(I have the same bug when entering DiamondCity and the Mayor talks to Piper but i managed to fix that one somehow back then)

Turn ON the DialogCamera!

Ok that worked for me... Actually I did a few things and I'm not sure if any of them were blocking the conversation from flowing:

- Got out of my power armor.
- Took off any targeting HUD effects or anything else that would affect NPCs or the world around me (i.e. the Cappy Glasses).
- Talked to William once before talking to Meggs.
- Enabled the dialog camera (menu -> settings -> display).

It may have just been the dialog camera needed to be turned on, though...

-Testing the "Cappy Glasses" i am wearing them 24/7 xd Maybe thats it.

It's probably just the dialog camera that needs to be enabled tbh.

I just did all that other stuff cuz I wanted to be sure that I discluded any other possible things that I could think of that could conceivably be conflicting (the targeting HUD had a MAJOR bug for a long time that prevented all pacification perks from working for example...).

It was the DialogCamera, it needed to be turned ON.

Bumping this just because I had a similar issue, except it was because I ended up killing Mason, who was the original quest-giver. The text changed to "return to Mags Black", but I already had a side mission going with her, and it just turned in that one instead of Mason's, and after that she would just offer me more missions, and not let me turn in the original. None of the previously stated fixes worked.

If anyone else has this issue, find the quest ID on the fallout 4 wiki, and then open the dev console with the ~ key and enter "completequest <quest ID>". In my case it was "completequest
DLC04_RQ_CollarTroubleMaker", but it might be different for you, the raiders leaders can offer a couple different ones.

i just used the command tgp closed command thing reopened and redid tgp and it fixed it the dialogue continued

Idk why but it's still not working for me, I had my DialogCamera set to On through my whole playthrough and she still gets stuck at that one line. Could possibly be a mod conflicting with it

sounds like you need to use the completequest comand " sqt " that will show you all the quest
look for the DLC one with mags and them type in completequest with that DLC it shows hit enter

Found another fix for this. All of those listed above didn't help. I saw this fix on a thread about a different quest. I'm posting it here cause its the first one that popped up on google so it'll be an easy find if someone else has this issue. Click here[fallout.fandom.com] and follow the highlighted section right below the companion reaction table. I recommend talking to the other two bosses first.
