As scrupelous profiteer I'd wipe out two factions to plunder them and keep the third one as base to sell the loot...
Not sure where you get this, but you absolutely can 'save' both of them...
Agree to replace Tektus with a synth. this will spare everyone.
If you choose to allow Acadia to be destroyed, Kasumi dies. If you do not allow that to happen, Kasumi can go home, DiMA lives, Far Harbor and the Children of Atom are at a shaky but present peace.
It's also known as "the best Far harbor ending" for a reason.
Once that's done, you can then shut down the windmills, tho' I don't know why fusion reactors don't work in their place.... I've never destroyed Far Harbor because I have a crush on the Mariner.
Everyone who advocates solving the problems of thermonuclear war with more thermonuclear weapons needs to be neutralized, imho. So, BOS, Rail Road and Minute Men are all passionate about nuking the Institute so they gotta die as well as the CoA.
Well that's part of the problem. DiMA hid the key to the nuclear bomb on the sub because he was afraid that Tektis would blow himself and the CoA up with the bomb.
What DiMA didn't care about was that this would increase the radiation on Far Harbor as well. DiMA is operating outside his design specification and is well out of warranty and needs to be ... retired.
Nuclear bombs are all evil. There's no way to use one that isn't wicked.
He's entirely against the idea in the first place, and we know he's more generally against harm to Far Harbour because he similarly hates disabling the fog condensors.
NOTE: Made a slight edit to the quoted section out of necessity, adding a "/" to close the spoiler tag.
Seriously, go there to parley and say DiMA wants his memories back, and if they start shooting, shoot back. They never even say hello or ask why you come*, but you do interrupt them murdering each other.
CoA are nuts with a death wish anyway. Not sure why DiMA says he likes them but then doesn't let them have what they want: death by nuclear fire.
* okay, they do ask if you came to join them, which the true answer is "hell no, I came to scam you to get DiMA's memories". Why are they so against you getting DiMA's memories back anyway?
I mean, wut-did-ya expect? That everyone would be of one mind?
