I have downloaded almost every map that exists to fix this problem but I couldn't fix it, maps are sooo bright, I need your help
I have been trying to fix this problem for 2 hours because I can't play without a map

First, the game crashed then when I relaunch it, the map became so bright that I can't see anything...

I have tried to fix it on the game setting, but it didn't help, and I have downloaded most map mods in Nexus and all of them are just bright, although I have followed all the instructions.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong?

Here is a picture of the last mod I have downloaded "Color Map 4K 2K"

Here are the 2 screenshots:

Remove all of the UI / pipboy mods.

Start without them.

Putting more mods on a game that's broken because of mods only makes the problem infinitely worse.

I don't understand what the actual issue is, here.

Adjust the value of fPipboyScreenEmitIntensityPA & fPipboyScreenDiffuseIntensityPA...

Looks like 1.25 and 0.10 is either too high or low for you.

The image they post the map on the pip boy is ridiculously whited out. LIke, so freakishly bright you could blind supermutants with it.

If what the OP needs is to have some kind of modded pipboy map, my advice is:

Use ONLY ONE.

Ever.

Only one of any thing that would apply to that specific item. The UI is fragile and difficult. Never pile more than one thing on a pipboy. It will break.

TY for the clarity, my friend. I did pick up that there was a whiteout problem. I was confused as to if it was modded and then finding another mod to fix it? ...or if it was something else.

I agree with being very cautious with UI mods.
