Decontamination Arch
I've completed the ablution quest, and fixed the decontamination machines using INT >= 7
The problem is that i'm trying to heal my radiation damages, but it doesn't seem to work..

Did you power it up?
Hydromel90 Aug 10, 2022 @ 11:05am
no needed, the water shows up, but it doesn't heal

Yeap its a known bug that just occurs.
Sometimes reloading a save fixes it, sometimes just leaving the area coming back fixes it. Sometimes they work then when you come back some other time they stop working.

You need to wire it up. It takes 1 power. Always worked for me.

Yeah um.

Perhaps you should take a look at what that arch DOES.

Because if you JUST fixed it the way that the girl tells you to: it does the opposite.

And as it said in the first post, he used the "fixed the decontamination machines using INT >= 7" option, which reverses the ladies modifications and causes the arch to function normally and reduce radiation.

But the actual problem is a known bug:

After completing the quest, then leaving and re-entering the Nucleus, the decontamination arches will only spray mist, and not affect the player's rads in any way, regardless of whether or not they chose to reverse the alterations.

Actually I have to think that it never worked for me,
does the amount of radiations healed is visible or it's just -1 rads forEach button pressing?
I've imagined it worked like a radaway but maybe it's just an hope
Mennan Aug 11, 2022 @ 7:16am
If you have a significant amount of radiation it should be visible. It should clear out all your rads.
Unless its functioning like a workshop version in which it will clear out all but 1 rad.

ok, it doesn't work at all

It worked for me once. After leaving and returning it had no effect anymore.

I don't have Far Harbor, but am interested in the Arch for my settlement. Do I have to get Far Harbor before a buildable version appears?

While you don't need that one specifically you DO need Wasteland Workshop.

However I would strongly recommend that if you want to mod *at all*, you WILL need the entire set of dlc.
