Fallout 5 Could Be Released Sooner?
Could Fallout 5 be released sooner than expected?quake con heard they mention
news of Fallout 5 but nothing on Starfield,so if flops more so quicker
Fallout 5 will be released. Now MS owns the company so am sure they

want to release Fallout 5 quicker than the company used to do to get quick
return on their investment,Like with disney they released waves of new
Star Wars films and series,so I think MS will do so with company
games like Fallout 5 and Skyrim sequel.

Nope.

Starfield is not going to be a flop. So expect Fallout 5 around 2030. Or later.

Probably not, but since Bethesda is now under the Microsoft brand, I wouldn't put it past them having another Microsoft affiliated company do another spin off title. Plus it would be a way for Microsoft/Bethesda to test out ideas they could add to Fallout 5.

Personally I'd go with 2028 for Fallout 5. Starfield is almost here so about a 3 year window for its finished development and DLC. Then around 2025-6 Elderscrolls VI releases and 2 more years of DLC for that brings us to 2028 for the release of Fallout 5.

..........................

As for Starfield, I'll take a wait and see as Bethesda most definitely isn't a buy on release franchise. Mind you with the next Dragon Age still flopping about, and Anthem being a train wreck that is being cleared off the track, we aren't likely to see a retry of post third game Mass Effect any time soon, so there really isn't any competition for new space semi open world space RPG.

No, I wouldn't expect it until closer to 2030. We don't want it sooner anyway, because that would mean that Fallout 5 wouldn't have all that many changes from Fallout 4 and 76.

I would rather the game take an extra 5+ years and be mind-blowing, but that's asking a lot from Bethesda Game Studios. If Microsoft were smart, they would get their best people on it, including people who still work for Obsidian that worked on New Vegas, because it's the people from Interplay (which later was replaced by Obsidian) that made it a fan favourite.

Fallout: Return to New Vegas is being made i just know it. :steamhappy:

well hypothetically since microsoft owns it all they could farm out a game to those talent less hacks at Obsidian or in a better scenario the actual devs of classic fallout at inexile seeing as both wrongly in obsdians case and rightly in inexiles have ties to the franchise.

but bethesda's busy

Well I did manage to talk to Dodd Toward from 30 years into the future using the time machine I pulled out of my ass, and he said "The plans for Fallout 5 have been delayed until after World War 3 passes and China stops using their chicken mascot soldiers to terrorize the local hobbits that were grown out of Corona virus variant Alphix-Omega-Episilon-Gamma-37892-C-B-F-Z-#%, and that we also plan to release the game with paid mods where the main menu is your first 600$, but everything else in the game is modular and you can purchase in installments of about 60$ a month for each, and if your card bounces we'll shoot your kid. If you don't have a kid we'll just shoot your nuts out. If you don't have nuts we'll just force you to watch the Sound of Music on repeat until you start foaming at the mouth. iT jUsT wOrKs!!

TL:DR
Nobody knows ♥♥♥♥, why are you speculating?

When Bethesda joins EA, they will not only be providing pride and accomplishment, or open worlds and "You can climb that mountain" but realistic deaths as well. Likely around the next COVID variant Alphix-Omega-Episilon-Gamma-37892-C-B-F-Z-#% - 2SPR-LG-B-T - 420-69, and its next vaccine. Which will, no doubt, be added to this game. Get the vaccine, get the free pay-to-win Bethesda title.

The future is glorious.

Is F5 even on their radar? Starfield is supposed to be released next year and ElderScrolls 6 probably 2026. The rest of their resources will go into mundane updates for F76. Then we will get an anniversary edition special deluxe edition for F4 in 2025.

Yes, but more in the what comes after ES VI plans sense.

There was only 8-9 years of development between Fo3 and Fo4, and both games are vastly different from eachother.
It's already been 7 years now since Fo4 released. I think the main thin deciding if a new Fallout releases soon or not is whether or not the new elder scrolls game is around the corner.
If yes: Then yeah we prob won't see a new fallout until 27-28.
If no: New fallout between 24-25.
People saying 2030 are nuts.

What Bethesda really needs to do is take the franchise in a direction it hasn't been yet to give it a breath of fresh air: Make an Open world fallout game based BEFORE the bombs dropped.

Eventually a series just has to end. Let a new series be made. Retire the old, otherwise creativity gets retarded

Also continually making sequels tends to pollute the lore, especially when new people are involved who do not understand how the established series worked

This mindset doesn't really work in a world as big as Fallout. There is (in theory) an infinite amount of games they could make based all around the world, Considering in the lore there is always SOMETHING going on.
Unless Bethesda goes belly up, Fallout isn't going away anytime soon.

Yep, that's the sad thing, just gonna milk the Fallout cow until every ounce of its soul is gone.

I'm sorry but Fallout is done. Every game really is the same, just "hey its California in the post apocalypse! Hey it's Washington DC in the post apocalypse! Hey it's Boston in the post apocalypse!"

It's been done over and over, different locals, yes, but nothing new has been learned or can be learned. It's just big evil corrupt companies and government made nuclear apocalypse and you come out 200 years later to finish fetch quests and shoot monsters and bandits and robots. Oh and ppl dress up and listen to 1950s music

Was it fun? Heck yeah. Do we need to keep retelling the SAME DAMN STORY for the 8th time? Heck no.
