Jokes aside, screenshot (of your character on fire) please.
I'll be removing it and that corrupted mod mentioned, but since I'll need to restart anyway, and mod suggestions before i restart? I like quests, and I've yet to beat the game. I've only seen the Minuteman men faction thus far.
And, I'll quick get the flaming me screenshot shortly.

Short descriptions included.
Now to play soon and began restarting again.
Okay this is hysterical.
I'd gotten Skyrim years ago, I've never yet beaten the main quest, or the civil war. It seems like every few months I'm like, "Oh, that new mod would work great with my playstyle, and/or sounds like a cool quest. I've forgotten where I am since I last played, so I'll remove a few unneeded mods and restart." When I first started modding, I had 2 CTD for I think 8 months, that I put up with cause it was near places I never went to.
I just tend to start the same with modable new games, looking up videos and articles of the best mods, finding out quick what I like, and getting more mods with that quest/faction/place, and when I'm satisfied, I play till I run into problems or I get board and play something else.
If you know what you are doing, you can slap in over a hundred mod at a single go.
I am at 100+ with my SFW mod profile at Vortex. Second profile in Vortex with those 100 mod + another 100 NSFW mod. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And it work just fine..
That's the point. You can't possibly know what you are doing, if you haven't played the game to begin with. Not even starting about lack of knowledge, what kind of experience all this mods together will orchestrate.
I'm not even talking about compatibility problems now (that obviously too, just look upon all those "help" topics down below, and steam is just one forum), only that in doing so people deny themselves basic knowledge about how game works.
As for former - OP is lucky indeed: in pinpointing culprit, in quickly receiving answer from mod author and not screwing his playthrough mid-to-late game entirely.
Most people, experiencing similar problem, aren't that good, And they don't have fun and giggles with that, as we had in this topic.
At least that is admirable approach, fair enough.
10/10, thread delivers.
Saying you cannot possibly know what you are doing is nothing short of pure ignorances.
There is a huge difference of making a research of what you are doing and lack of knowledge. I had seen enough people who can install mod for the first time without problem and then some who struggle even the most basic.
The difference between both is that 1 read and try to understand the installation guide of the mod they want.. the other just simply be like.. "Oh lovely mod, I just slap it in"....
I already lost count of number of player that basically did't even read manual instruction provided by author like..... "Not compatible with this xxx mod", "Make sure load order A is above load order B" and etc etc... yet player still install it together or never bother to check their load order.
