Power armor flashlight not centered issue
I'm not a big power armor user, so I haven't noticed this until now, but on all of my power armors the 1st person flashlight is highly offset to the left. It affects both vanilla and modded power armors and I have no idea what causes it. I've already checked all mods I suspected to cause this issue, but to no avail.

Is there some way I could fix it, either with a mod or by making changes in xEdit?

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but is it possible your weapon has a light? Because I have noticed that if I have a light on a rifle, it screws up lighting focus. Because I cannot play this game in the dark. (I don't see that well)
I seek a mining helmet first thing in a playthru. And the first main mod for my PA is a Bright helmet light.

Greets. Try this mod. I'm currently using it, works great and is realistic too! https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10840?tab=description

Good suggestion, as I've heard that about weapon flaslights too, but personally don't use them so that isn't the case here :/

I've tried this mod already, but it only changes the power armor's gobos texture and doesn't centre it.

Happens with mining helmets too. Not sure if it is just modded helmets e.g. modded to bright lights. Fix is to turn to light off and on but it's a pain.

That doesn't make any sense. It is perfectly centered on both pipboy and power armour for me. Did you go through all the options? Here is what it looks like. (Or should look like.) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2789282932

Hmm... I understand what you are trying to say, but my issue simply isn't fixed by this mod. If I understand it correctly, it's because the mod only shanges what the flashlight looks like, not it's position. And because my issue is caused by some other source, it isn't as easily fixed :/
Btw, I'm just curious, could you try walking really close to a wall (like in my screenshots) and testing the light?

Light goes off center, moves to the upper left out power armour and in.

That's the exact issue I'm having. Starting to suspect that it's a vanilla bug. If I ever find a fix for it, I'll post here.

The flashlight is not centered on the model, so it makes sense for the light to not be centered. Look at your helmet. You may call it a bug on the x01, but that's probably because they forgot to change it for that model.

So you're saying it's a problem with the vanilla game models?
If that's the case I might try to come up with a fix for it. I bet it's just an issue with game referencing wrong files, because as you said, the offset makes sense for T-45 and T-60. It would thus make sense they created seperate models for other suits, but forgot to properly assign them.

This is still happening now? It was a known issue in 2016 or so when I last looked the other night (because I have issues with my helmet light as stated in another thread too). People seem convinced that it's fixed, but... obviously it isn't if there are now new threads about it.

To be fair though the x01 helmet lights don't make much sense from a physics point of view. Light is coming out of the same place you are looking out of, how does that work? Looking through illuminated glass doesn't help you see the other side, the opposite is true. Better having a magic light where the flashlight of the other helmets are then.

You only really notice the dispalcement when extremely close to a wall though. So it's not a big deal. I know there's a mod that not only centers the light, but also makes it shaped like the x01 eyes.
