Some write about themselves in this extra info box. I'll be writing about others. Those rare and remarkable few that inspire. That bring back memories, the nostalgia. Those moments we all love to remember and dwell on fondly when we think back in time.

Those games we played, loved and just somehow keep coming back to. The things we go through to make them function on a modern system just because they were that good. They were that memorable.

Because those rare few that designed these games, no matter the role they had, artist, animator, programmer, they all had a job to do and did it as a team, separate individuals that came together as a whole and made an end product that someone wants to say "you are one of the best memories I have".

The stories, the scenes, the gameplay, the varying emotions, all things that the game could influence, these are all marks of true talent, true ability. The ability to influence others, telling a story that enraptures, showing scenes that bring dread, joy, sorrow, happiness. The list is endless.

This is just my little token of appreciation for all those game developers out there that made games that captured the hearts and minds of many forever. It is through your imagination and inspiration that some of the greatest memories anyone could ever have is playing your game. It is through your hard work we have enjoyment, it is through your creations that I am able to write this in fond memory of games I played many many years ago that still evoke the same responses and sense of marvel, awe and appreciation as they did when I first played them way back when.

So to those giants, both old and new, thank you for those memories, those various feelings and emotions (and the ability to replay and relive said experience!). Your imagination, story telling, adventures, creations are the source of rapture.
