Best ENB in terms of looks AND performance?
I remember I was using PRC, and it was a mistake. Every time I walked through the city, it was a stuttering mess, and the same can be said about film workshop. I guess those ENBs are only good for taking screenshots, huh?
Now, I'm using the Subtle ENB preset, and I must say the performance is a lot better, but as the title suggests, it's subtle.
Are there any ENB presets out there that won't tank my fps but look great at the same time?
Or is that too much to ask?

It might be too much to ask because it really really REALLY depends of yours taste. There is even an ENB category at Nexus mod if you cannot find one that appeals you.

I myself use NAC, which is a weather mod + ENB together.

I prefer realism, not cinematics, which is why I use Subtle. Are you also using ELFX or no? If not, try it and see if that's what you're looking for. Also, turn DoF off in the ENB and use Dynavision.

There is only one enb. It is made by Boris Vorontsov. enbdev.com. He modifies it to work with different games

The things made by users aren't ENB's. But enb presets. There is no enb that runs better than another. Because they are all the same. It just seems that way because some features may be disabled on one and enabled on another

Yes. ENB presets. That is what I meant.

Yes, I use ELFX, along with ENB Lights Overhaul. I do like the Subtle ENB preset, but I'm just looking around to see if there's any preset worth trying. There are so many presets that look so good, but I can tell they have a big impact on performance. That alone would put me off a mod.

Can you tell me what mods you use? (Just the visual and graphics mod will do)
Thank you.

You could check out 'Decent ENB' there are two versions one just called "Decent ENB" and the other "Decent ENB Plus" I prefer the first one. You could have a look through my screenshots to see if that's what you would like. I also use True Storms and Enhanced Lights and FX just for context. Games stays at a steady 60 the entire time.

You should rewind a month of two back... I was completely clueless.
I wouldn't dare say I am a pro at this, there is so much to learn about modding, and messing around with presets, I feel, is just scratching the tip of the iceberg.
If only I had the time to learn everything...
