Looking for a way to get lots of dirty water

I have over 100 mirelurk eggs and I need a way or place to get over 100 cartons of dirty water. If anyone sees this that know's a solution please respond.

If you Must have the dirty water Right Now, you can add them to your inventory using the console[as long as you're not in survival mode].

Open the console[~] and type player.additem 000366bf 100 then hit Enter and close the console[~].

There is a mod that lets you turn purified water to dirty water in the cooking station, otherwise buying it from bars in settlements (requires 2nd Local Leader perk) is the best bet, but it would take a while to get that much. In survival you can fill bottles in polluted water souces to get dirty water, but you can't do it out of survival for some reason

Fill your bottles at the pond or the lake around Sanctuary instead of using them to get purified water?
Just go to the edge of the water and fill ém up.

thats only for survival mode. but yeah you can do that with various empty bottles on survival mode.

in normal mode you have to loot them or buy them from shops. food shops tend to have them.

Can be sold by food and drink vendors at player settlements. Up to nine can be sold in restaurants.
Ten in total can be found at Weston water treatment plant: five at the reception desk and two in the room directly behind it.
Eight in The Third Rail.
Seven at the Railroad HQ.
Five around Power Noodles.
Five at Daisy's Discounts.
Five bottles in Dunwich Borers.
Five in Park Street station
Five inside the Shamrock Taphouse.

Always thought it was dumb how you HAVE to have dirty water to cook with. Purified doesn't work.

But that's the level of Quality we've come to expect from this game.

I'm not using console. at least not when the game glitches (I love your games bethesda, but I don't like it when i get the vault 81 mole rat disease when my companion is bit so I'll just noclip to Curie)

I'd use that if achievements weren't disabled when you use mods, but I'll make a note of that.

because my character loves his omeletes, and he always has trouble with carry weight dispite him having strength 8 and two pieces of armor to boost it to ten, as well as the first 2 ranks of strong back. I can't stop picking up telephones and typewriters. I need help.

I'll be changing my game to survival mode for 10 minutes. also you gave me the best solution so if I were rich I'd get you a cosmetic in TF2 or something.

Thanks for the feedback, though I don't think I'll be stealing anything from Takahashi without turning Diamond city into a death zone. I know you can move the items, but the guards are always watching me. eh, makes sense when I look like a gunner whilst hanging out with Maccready
