Sims Settlement Questions (and possibly other mods)
Years after its release, and I'm still learning new things about fallout 4.
My problems most come from modding, so I'll ask in advance before I break my game. (again.)
Can you install Sim settlement 1 + 2 together, or just one at a time.
Can you still do micromanagment-like tasks after installing the mod, or does it completely overhaul the building feature?
If you still can, can you access parts added by other mods?

You'd likely be better off posting this in their forums for the mod. A lot more chances of getting input from other people who also have the mod.

You can not run SS1 and SS2 in the same game. You can make two different profiles in MO2 to do this if you want. SS2 is not really at a state where it's ready for a full user playthrough that's not purely for testing. You can still build your own pieces with SS, it's actually part fo the beauty of SS1, you can play it how you want. I would suggest NOT using city plans/leaders and custom building in the same settlement. But you can have a leader/plan in one and build on your own in another (with or without using SS plots. I'd suggest using SS1 if you intend on a full playthrough on the character.

We have Support Team members as forum regulars and plenty of experienced players (like kdodds above.) Feel free to as SS questions here.

If we can't sort it out, then we ask from support team chat. Sim Settlements is well represented here.

Well, that's fine. But In the past, I've posted on here regarding a couple of different mods and nobody knew the answer to my questions. When I posted in the Forums on Nexus, I got several responses, one of which answered my questions. I'd never used the mod the OP is asking about before (or even heard of it) so, hence my suggestion to post on the mod author's actual page.

As SS2 goes I rather play the game with SS1. SS2 take over and controls the game and disallows many mods that SS1 allows. Basically anything to do with SS1 and Conquest plus other mods are incompatible or impedes them.

I started a trial run with SS2 a few days ago. So far it's not that much different than SS1. It has some bugs. Some features are much better than SS1, but it's still not quite there yet. Nonetheless it's a great mod.

I played a few long games with a mix of SS1 and my own buildings. I'd use that method as SS in general is good for those settlements that you can't be bothered with and can use a plan for. Building out of bricks and siding is my preference to shacks out of junk.

Check the Commonwealth Coffee Shelter thread if you're really having issues. Just about all of the regulars (semi or otherwise) can probably be of some help, or maybe point to someone who can. You can also always send a friend request. As long as you're not primarily a CS:GO player, I usually accept. I've helped others in chat before if I can, but I prefer doing it on the forums because it leaves a record to which future users can refer.
