Fallout: London
Guessing everyone has had a chance to see the Fallout: London trailer - quite excited! Anyone got any thoughts or hopes?

Trailer is here for anyone who missed it: https://youtu.be/bS-EQG0C1sM

Also- any other vital mods you already have? My mod list is currently longer than Preston's settlement quest list but hey why not :otrmetalhand:

No he doesn't speak "good" English at all. He would be very much regarded as a "commoner" by the Queen and high society. It's not just the accent, but he also talks a lot of "cockney rhyming slang". Google it if you don't know what it is. :)

This isn't to imply that cockneys are of inferior intelligence at all... but their roots tend to be more lowly in terms of class/money.

(I'm a "true cockney" btw.. was born within the sound of Bow Bells. lol)

Bus is buried before the blast ? Hmmm... not thoroughly thought through.

I'll grant them a "A" for effort, but that's it.

No clue. But I doubt very much he'd do narration work for a mod.
There are OTHER cockney actors, you know? lol

The video page says it's Ciaran Saward. To me, it sounds like he is trying to do Ray Winstone.

Color me genuinely surprised on 2 counts.
- Didn't expect Bethesda to release more DLC for this game, thought they were done for sure
- Didn't expect them to EVER make a setting outside the US.

It's a fan made mod, it isn't going to be Creation Club locked nor is it made by Bethesda devs.

I did find the video fairly interesting/amusing though (as a Londoner) because they list 3 gangs - clearly based on youth culture from the late 70's (my era of youth)... basically there were mods (talking about a youth culture here, not a "mod" in the gaming sense lol), punks and skinheads in those days. Different styles and not really tolerant of each other. I will probably try the mod out on a new savegame (not my current one though).

lol. I guess so!
I edited my comment in case people thought there were Nexus "mod" gangs back in those days or moderators!
The original "mods" were actually around in the 1960's (check the movie "Quadrophenia" which is all about them).. the late 70's had a sort of "revival" of mod culture. I was a mod back then too!
I think some people outside of the UK are aware of Mods from things like The Who (rock band) and theie movie Quadrophenia. At least when I lived in Canada a fair amount of people were in to The Who and had Mod paraphernalia in their bedrooms.

Yes, I got into the mod thing via a semi-punk band called "The Jam" (don't know if you know of that band but they were big in UK and had several big hits). Very smartly dressed (suits, short hair and two-tone shoes lol). Skinheads tended to be more "brute-ish" and were associated more with soccer violence and racism. Punks were.. well.. punks (Sex Pistols were the main pioneers of that in UK - which I guess is why this London Fallout mod calls the gang "The Pistols"). They were very anti-establishment, anti-monarchy, etc.

It's a shame being a fan mod they won't be able to license "Going Underground" by The Jam or "London Calling" by The Clash.

Or "God Save The Queen" by the 'Pistols, for that matter.

Yeah that would be awesome. I could REALLY relive my youth then! I still have my 12 inch vinyl punk records from 40-odd years ago!
