I have 2 questions about the UI Color?
1. What file do I need to go to to edit it?

2. Asking the first 1 bc idk what color the FNV UI is.

The UI color can be adjusted through altering the RGB (= a color code) values in the Options -> display, scroll down. You can even change the flashlight color of your pip-boy.

For your second question, I do not know the RGB value of the FNV UI by memory, sorry.

FNV UI is orangy/yellow by default I think, no? My pref is amber-ish, mostly transparent UI and green Pipboy, and I change them immediately so I don't really recall. I would not worry so much about getting them exact. Start in the middle (gray) and slide R and G right, B left accordingly. Once you've got the hue you want, move them all left (darker) or right (lighter) until you've got the brightness you're looking for. If you're also going to adjust opactiy, you may have to alternate adjusting opacity and brightness. This is much easier to do real-time (i.e. in game) than it is to do in an ini file.

I know that I can just head into the options but I need specifics. Like what file in the game is this data stored.

Seriously? You can't just look?

Oh, just note, not being a douche here, depending on your install, there are different places the inis can be. You want to look for the prefs ini.

that says pipboy effect though. I would assume that UI color will be there as well?

Yup, it IS the UI color, not some fancy effect.

EDIT:

Check this out for a bit more info, looks like I was remembering it wrong:

Ah you want to adjust in the .ini file directly? That was not specified. It is possible to go through the menu ingame, but if you still insist, look for Fallout4Prefs.ini in your "Documents" folder, then check for these values
[Interface] iHUDColorB= iHUDColorG= iHUDColorR=
Only values between 2 and 255 applies.

Guys, you can change the UI color in the in-game menu.

I am well aware of the ability to alter the UI Color within the game itself but I desire specific change. And to do specific change I need to go deeper than just the main menu. So I have specifically asked the other people here where I can find the correct file to change the ui color to a specific set of values. The purpose of this thread has already been fulfilled, you did not need to post here providing an answer that which I did not seek. Leave now, and make better use of your time.
