Fallout 4
Good mod sites other then nexus.
I don't want to use a site that has immature admin and owners, I had a huge ordeal with nexus which resulted in my getting IP banned, nearly took up legal action, but decided it wasn't worth it to persue someone so immature. My router broke, so I got a new one, therefore a new IP, now I can get back on, but I'd rather not, due to the site being owned by an overreacting nine year old with good grammar. So anyone got any ideas on better sites?

EDIT: The reason getting IP banned was just a big deal was cause I have a brother and two sisters who like to mod in video games aswell.

EDIT 2: I did act rather immature after thinking about it, but so did nexus, with the way they delt with it. so lets get back to the point people.

Try bethesda net, It's in-game.
Gun Network is a lot worse

Well you could do L o v e r s L a b, you can block your family and still get normal mods...not just adult mods

You don't see the contradiction in accusing immaturity in an immature way ?

Hey, what's your new IP address ?
Well, there's always bethesda.net. Other than that, there's the site that will be automatically blocked, but that's about it as far as "safe" sites goes. And, of course, there are modders who specifically produce Nexus exclusive content.
So you can go throw a hissy fit on another site instead?

I don't see how I acted immature. I think you're acting immature though, so why don't you leave instead of complaining?

Define "Hissy fit"
What they're saying is that the folks at Nexus are reasonable when you're reasonable and it takes a bit to get banned, that's all. They really don't ban people without cause.

I was given a warning for saying "How am I lazy for not having a file?" Cause I was missing a file which I needed for modding on a different game, then I was unable to access said mod, then I made a different account to question why, I hadn't seen anywhere in the rules that it wasn't allowed despite having looked over it twice, I talked with Nexus on twitter, then talked to them via email, eventually when they refused to unban me I said "I'd be glad to use legal action, because this was just unreasonable." and so they stopped talking to me. They aren't reasonable, at all.
I tend to think that if you had the logs of what was actually said, we'd have a different version.

You sound like a modder that was up in arms on the skyrim forums because he was unjustly banned. He had done a bunch and then some (some users had found logs of what actually went down), but didn't want the ban, apparently. Its kind of you against the world because you have no real evidence of the Nexus mods acting the way you describe it.

So, to volunteers, who make no money designing mods, supporting mod distribution, you were a smart ass, and they decided they didn't want to deal with you and denied you access. So instead of shrugging and moving on, you decided to circumvent their decision and protocol for their site by creating a new account expressly against TOS and accosted them further thereby announcing that infraction as well. And when they outright banned your IP for this infraction, you argued with them further and threatened to sue them. Um, yeah, might want to check the definitions of reasonable and unreasonable.

Well thats not quite how it went but now that I think about it some parts weren't quite mature on my part. It was probably atleast half my fault, but still IP banning was unreasonable sense I had brothers and sisters who used mods.
You can reset your router and leave it off the power for a few hours to obtain a new IP from your ISP, if that's an option.
It won't ban the range as far as I'm aware.

Will do if they decide to pull a YouTube on me again.
