do you have any idea why my game is crashing though?
Your load order is a bit messed up anyway. Better Settlers files are in wrong positions. BetterSettlersNoLollygagging.esp should be below Better Settlers main file. LOOT doesn't always sort them correctly, but it should at least position them better than that. Did you run LOOT to sort the order? It may be that your load order is just messy enough for MCM to struggle.
Otherwise I can't see the issue from file selection. Is your F4SE itself running correctly?
Better Settlers does not actually require any other mods to run, unless you are using Comunnity Clothing and Armor Pack. Right now the CCAP isn't installed. If that would be installed and masters for it would be missing, then game would crash directly after Bethesda screen.
I agree with scrapping mods. If someone wants to use them, then they should really drop Spring Cleaning and use just Scrap Everything. Though, as I said above, they both disable PreCombines from settlements, which will lead to FPS losses and can lead to crashing later on.
i used LOOT to sort it but ill clean some of the mods out (as well as better position them) and see if that helps
I would recommend installing "Start Me Up" for fast testing of your mod list. You can use it to enter almost directly in to world, which allows you to see faster if the game is suffering from issues in new saves.
I should check, if Lollygagging has BetterSettlers.esp as it's master. If it does, then it should most definitely always get sorted below the main file. If LOOT didn't solve that, then you might have other similar issues that would cause crashing and MCM issues.
Move it below BetterSettlers.esp anyway. That is where it belongs.
That gives LOOT a pass and something else must be wrong.
