Has there ever been a video game character as annoying as Piper before?

As the title states, obviously one of the most obnoxious characters on the game. on my 5th playthrough or so it came to me why hasnt anyone modded her out yet..

I don't remember which game it was...Baldur's Gate (BG II?), but there was an npc put in there specifically to harass and annoy the player. It was some kid who just followed you around and said completely inane things for no other reason than to upset people.

Piper is miles ahead of anything like that. It would be nice if she could get to the point during some of her monologues though - in survival, listening to her can be life threatening...lol

"Letting her in" what? Diamond City? No, you need her to open the gates, but it's possible to skip that if you save Nick Valentine first and then follow him to DC.
However, aside from the introduction and a conversation in Nick's office about what to do with Kellogg's brain, you are not required to talk to her ever again for the rest of the game

She's the only humanoid character that bothers to refer to you by a name, Blue. A nickname that actually (sorta) makes sense since it wouldn't be feasible to have so many voice actors say 100+ viable names in their lines, so they just gave that personal immersion to Codsworth in just his short greeting lines.

Piper is far from annoying, if not she feels the most personable.

I agree. She is sweet and has empathy. She has the journalist's self-appointed hero complex thing going on and the correlated moral tunnel vision but I think that's an accurate portrayal.

Also she gets +100 for the kink-curious flirting dialogue.

When I grade a character's annoyance I look at Scrappy Doo as the hard line of "the worst".

So far no character has ripped my heart and soul by its very being as much as him.

Piper actually falls on the above average side of the scale.

She is a reporter and needs to have an outgoing/obnoxious/aggressive personality to get a story. DUH!!!
