MODS to make it more RPG
Hello, everyone, currently playing NV and I was wondering if there's any mod or combination of mods to make F4 more RPG like its predecesor, in terms of skill, perks and character progression in general.

Any idea appretiated.

So you are basically saying that I should keep playing NV? No way to make 4 more rpg?

What exactly are you looking for? What is more rpg for you? Neither fallout 3 nor New Vegas were real rpg.
More/new perks? Harder enemy/Survival?

fallout 4 has such a poorly crafted story line forcing your decisions in such a way that there really arent any decisions . what ever faction you join doesnt matter , the only change in the outcome is the clothes and guns you get .
you are forced to play the char bethesda made , fallout 4 isnt a rpg ,
i do like the map ,

new vegas you start as a blank slate , you can do anything you want .
fo3 and 4 you are a person looking for a family member

Fallout 3 and 4 you can do anything you want after you leave the vault.
New Vegas you can do anything you want after you leave house.

Fallout 3 are you looking for your father.
New Vegas are you look for benny.
Fallout 4 are you looking for your son.

No big difference.

Totally forget you dont start blank in New Vegas. The courier had the biggest past of the three.

your not looking for beny , you can if you want but you dont have to , you can enjoy the whole game without ever looking for him

Like in Fallout 3 and 4 you can enjoy the whole world without doing the mainquest.

Horizon. In some places over modded or just modded for the sake of modding its but definately more meaningful playstyle.

You're confusing Roleplaying with Choose Your Own Adventure. Roleplaying is focused on the character, the, well, the role you are playing. Adventures, multipath or otherwise, are focused on the story progression more than the character progression. So yes, FO4 is a RPG. I swear, I think half of the people who say they like RPGs aren't even aware of what that means. Old school, the first big market RPGs like Pool of Radiance, the story was the same every time, like playing out a DnD module, except on your computer, and with you in control of the (usually) 4-6 PCs. What mattered in those games, what made them replayable, were the characters you'd create because, well, because you were roleplaying. At the same time, text adventures split off from the even earler titles to focus more on the story. It didn't matter who your character was, really, all that mattered were the choices you made. And things persisted like that, for a decade or more, two separate genres. And then they started to be melded back into one another again, with some elements of one or the other genre predominant. Those with even a modicum of "RPGness" about them started being marketed as having RPG elements. As far back as Doom, id was talkign about adding "RPG elements" to their shooters (which finally came about with Rage). But Rage isn't an RPG. I would even argue that The Witcher series is just a stats-on-steroids adventure series, with 2 and 3 tending more towards action adventure. And the other big modern series, Dragon Age and Mass Effect started as pretty good 60/40 blends of RPG and Adventure before devolving into soap opera simulators. So, really, right now, the purest RPGs we have left are the BGS games, like it or not, but they are most definitely RPGs. That is, unless you want to redefine the genre so completely as to make its label meaningless.

Horizon is mainly a Survival overhaul. For a Survival game its great but if he dont want to play Survival it isnt that great.

fo4
it's not an rpg , i am forced to play the game as a parent searching for my son . that affects every aspect of the game , the story line must be followed , there is no choice , you have to be that person .
fallout new vegas , do what ever you want , the world is yours to be who ever you want to be
