Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 were necessary sacrifices. (SPOILER ALERT)

Now some may argue that fallout 4 "wasnt that bad", and I agree in terms of gameplay. The game was really fun. The perk system was great and left room for a lot of builds to play through the game with. I loved the base building too but this is coming from grindmaster flex of many MMOs and sandbox games in general. However in terms of story, dialogue and even the main character (IMO shouldn't have been voiced) is terrible. The institute was a poorly executed part of the story. The whole "big reveal" in the story of im your son, but also your grandfather with cancer was again, poorly executed. I did like Kellog as a character though and how they tied him in with the institute. Diamond city is a terrible hub. Now I could expand on this list a lot but im gonna keep this moving.

Fallout 76 was trash that was thrown in a dumpster that was on fire, and also got a nuclear bomb dropped on it and years later when the radiation went away a homeless man came by and saw that monstrosity or what was left of it and then he pooped on it and threw up on it, and then he lit it on fire again. Then he got drunk and passed out into the fire and died but not before he gave the game aids and herpes.

But guys, this was all necessary and a GOOD THING. Two words baby, elders scrolls 6. They are gonna put everything into this game and its gonna be the S H I T . Todd Howards gonna be all like "HERE COMES THE MONEY. MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY". Hes gonna say "yo those trash games I released were just a prank, everyone knows elder scrolls is way better than fallout anyway" last but not least "LMAO yall heard of skyrim?" " I released that game like 6 times and yall still buying it bruh"

Also preston garvey = trash character. Literally a troll from bethesda.

Garvey is more of an annoyance rather than a trash character. However having said that if ES6
and Starfield use the same s****y engine that 76 used it will be bug city and Bugthesda will piss off even more players. I have 3, 4, and New Vegas and I'm not complaining. I'd like to see Bethesda out ofbusiness and ALL the rights to fallout go to Obsidian who know how to make a game. Anyone who continues to buy Bugthesdas s**t deserves what they get. Sorry but that's

Fallout 4 was/is (still) just fine. Fallout 76 was a "cash grab" IMO, my wife and I only played for 2 months. I just started Fallout 4 again after a 2 year break, that's as good of staying power as Skyrim. Skyrim 2350 hours, Fallout 4 1750 hours and rising. Fallout 76 pissed me off so much I started tossing my Fallout swag! Now I am looking forward to the next Fallout.

(I also liked Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas FTW!

ES6 and Starfield will make 76 look like a masterpiece. I'm hoping that that becomes the end of Bugthesda and like I said earlier, I'd love to see the ENTIRE rights to Fallout go to Obsidian

I think Fallout 76 was a good thing. There is a lot of improvements to the game play in it. You just never get to hear about them because people are too busy drowning it with parroted trash talk about a game they never played.

That is the issue I have.

People think it is cool to bash Fallout 76, so they do it, despite never having played it.

The ones who actually played it and disliked it give specifics, rather than "it sucks."

Look at the OP's original post. The OP wrote half a novel on how bad Fallout 76 yet could not even manage to name any specific problem he had while playing it.

There has been plenty of changes from Fallout 4 to Fallout 76 that I hope are kept for Fallout 5 when it comes out.

FO 76 was nothing but a money grab. The game was so shallow that I found myself doing nothing but repeating harvesting materials for days, then questing for a day, then back to harvesting again for days, just so I could quest for one more day, then back to harvesting...It was a never ending harvesting grind-fest that caused my wife and I to both set the game aside after 2 months. We are both disappointed die hard Fallout fans and 76 was so bad that I took the Fallout sticker off the back of my work truck and tossed some other Fallout swag in the trash!
