Thats the very definition of killing a game.
Interplay would've eventually went bankrupt If not for them buying the IP out.
I get It, you're a fan of the older series, you're mad, but that doesn't quality for them killing It.
NV is the weakest after BOS and F1.
i don't ether compare NFS with Project Cars, it would be the same ♥♥♥♥. They tried to save the franchise, at least they did a great job and you can still play more Fallout-games,
Let's not bring facts into this please, thank you.
Aaaand no more to say here folks :).
Except that Ive enjoyed all of the fallout games (nv was the best). It must suck to be one of you that are constantly envy of us that can enjoy the things you find as trash. Just move along.
with that said, i enjoyed FO4. Even it DOES feel like different game/world, at least a bit.
Interplay sold the IP because it was on the verge of bankruptcy, due to the company's poor decisions and the creation of that aberration called Fallout Brotherhood of Steel. Bethesda saved the franchise's IP and took it to the next level, turning it into the renowned IP that the franchise currently is.
If Bethesda hadn't bought the Fallout IP, the franchise would have died with BoS, and there would be no Fallout 3, New Vegas, or Fallout 4 and TV Show. Furthermore, the franchise would have died with the worst game in the series, like the last Fallout game.
The franchise has gone through several owners (Black Isle, Interplay, Micro Forte, Obsidian, and Bethesda) and all 5 companies have released their games, which are good in their own way, but neither Bethesda nor Obsidian (as well as Black Isle Studios) are perfect.
For Fallout 1, Tim Cain regretted adding the time limit, which he fixed in the sequel.
Fallout 2 has the worst tutorial in video game history.
Fallout Tactics lacks the RPG of the first two games.
Fallout BoS is just the black sheep of the franchise and was just a Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance but with Fallout mods
Fallout 3, although it has an RPG system, is still not as good as the first two Fallouts.
New Vegas launched horribly and the game was almost unplayable due to the thousands of glitches and bugs it had.
Fallout 4 lacks the RPG of the saga only to focus on being a fallout shooter where you can build settlements
Fallout 76 had the worst launch ever for a Fallout game (although the game is currently pretty good)
Despite all the negative aspects of each game, the games are still very good, and there's a Fallout that offers more than the previous one. Even so, the franchise is currently doing well.
Never forget that Bethesda saved the Fallout IP and turned it into a famous IP like it is now. The franchise would have died with Interplay. If Bethesda hadn't bought the IP, we wouldn't have had any more games, and it would have all ended with BoS.
ARISE yea old argument, dead for the best of SEVEN YEARS!!!
Thy great Threadnomancer Heavyimpcat and his Minion SiegfraTithe command ye!!
Assuming OP means Fallout Syria...is that like Fallout London?
