Ever heard that "give a man a fish" proverb? There's a hidden part most people haven't heard, which is "Spoon feed a man and he'll be back tomorrow throwing tantrums and expecting help."
I was going crazy with Papyrus and didn't make much out of it. Then few nice persons gave me advices that allowed me to figure out rest of what I was doing.
Sometimes few instructions can help a man to figure out the rest by his own terms.
Yeah, if someone can't find "7-zip" using that keyword and a search engine, I'm not sure you're helping him figure anything out other than how to whine for help until he gets it. It's one step shy of remote accessing his PC and doing it yourself. Maybe I'm just a horrible heartless cynic, but this seems a lot more like enabling someone's learned helplessness than actually helping them.

Dude, are you typing with your elbow?
Christopher Columbus was an autodidact from the 1400s that was not only literate, but traversed an ocean.
And yet he could still read, write and communicate effectively and manage a crew of superstitious idiots while convincing them they weren't sailing toward certain death.
I will eventually need help, and I'll use the vast collective knowledge of humanity (handily indexed and easily searchable within moments) to get that help. Then I'll silently thank myself for making the effort to become literate in my mother tongue. Teaching yourself something is great. Teaching yourself something halfway is halfway great.
