Creation club mod/dlc review

Note i did not buy: any of the pipboy/powerarmor skins or the horse power armor

weapons/backpack are level listed to vendors so far i know i dunno if enemies or npc's carry these stuff

okay lets start with the best CC content

ikea furniture CC you get:

*couches 2 variations 4 colors small couches 2 colors
*rugs many colors and paterns 5 total
*Tables - coffee tables[container]-small dresser[container] dinner tables
*chairs 2 colors
*ceiling lamps 2 varients floor lamps 2 color 2 each
*shelfs 2 colors
*2 variations of beds with different colors
*wooden floors 4 wood colors
*foundations 4 colors

well its almost there missing walls and maybe a roof i mean the floors looks great and clean am i suppose to pair that with ugly vanila walls ? worth it ? well if you into settlements imo would say yes but the lack of wall and roof say YES i aint too bad for 300 CC


Hellfire power armor

starts with quest [very small fetch quest]

can have all factions paints almost all paintings not atomcats painting


no unique power armor mods just the vanila power armor mods

is it worth it for its price NO [this powerarmor has a mod varient dunno if its out yet i saw on juiceheads youtube channel ]

Backpack

you get 1 backpack in your inventory

very customizable [problem with customizing you cannot see what attachments look while customzing it you only see the name of attachments]

is worth it NO

has mod varient available for free

Prototype Gauss Rifle

starts with a mini fetch quest

has custom sounds

its a lasermusket in disguise 3 crank

decent damage

looks great good quality textures

has low customization options

its a fun weapon but there is a mod that looks the same maybe does the same and sounds the same or maybe even has better customization for it

should you get it pfff i dunno i always loved this model of gauss rifle but bias aside there is already a mod that maybe preforms the same so NO

Chinese stealth armor

no customization available

when crouch you get a stealth field aka perma stealth boy

pretty bad stat

looks cool good quality textures

cannot combine with existing armor pieces

onepiece armor


is it worth NO already a mod out there that probaby has the same quality

Morgans space suit

no customization

hazmatsuit with a better defence but still bad

onepiece armor

cannot combine with armor pieces

helmet looks cool with the tubes and all looks highquality

rest of the suit looks pretty boring

worth it NO lore breaking aswell jeez why not also carebears 400cc while you at it

Handmade shotgun

you have 2 varient of handmade shotguns well 3 if you count the unique one yes this weapon has a unique varient for sale in diamond city has a unique skin but same status

you have doublebarrel and tripple barrel varient available

good customization options

there is a mod looks similar as this CC content but the handmade shotgun looks to be unique

Final verdict: most of the stuff is overpriced copies of existing mods

Good stuff. I think the Backpacks, while overpriced, are at least good though. Rest I'm with you 100%.

handmade Shotgun was a surprise with how good it is. Custom sounds, adds much needed variety with the shotgun class. (IMO, a pipe-style shotgun should have been one of the most common weapons seen) and... while still priced a touch too high, is way more reasonable.

Addendum: Can you Ballistic Weave the Chinese Suit/Prey Advertisement suit?

don't think so these are new assets to the game so i don't see compatibilty till author of the mentioned mods updates them if he wishes

actually, "are the mods operable with nexus mods without breaking them" would be the biggest question of all. nexus mods authors would be very pissed off if someone asks them to make a patch for some/all official mods lol

therefore, the official mod authors shall take these into consideration

depends on what type of mods you are using if you use mods that use F4se yeah it'll break unless you have previous fallout4.exe file wich wont break F4se but most of the mods should just work as they suppose to but they prolly wont work on the new assets won't break the game its just the new assets won't benefit from the mentioned mods

This sort of bugged me out...both platforms have released this very content, but the free alternative is A LOT better, with more customization options and the Nexus version even has special effects on the leg vents. The location where the armor is found is also a touch that the CC variant lacks.

And the item cost is equivalent to a full-fledged DLC such as Automatron, LOL.
