Mod to disable blood disappearing?
I want to see all the blood from all the victims I've killed, anyone know a mod that disables blood fade? It'd be much appreciated, and might give a +++++++++++rep! (not kidding)

Go to your Fallout4Custom.ini

Located here:
...\Documents\My Games\Fallout4

- Add these lines:
[Display]
fDecalLifetime=800.000

If [Display] already exists in your ini then just copy the fdecal lines below [Display]

fDecalLifetime will increase the lifetime of all decals. The number can be changed to further increase or decrease the duration.

- Save the file

I don't know if this does exacly what you want, but this makes the characters bleed out on the ground and the effect stays there for a long time.

So, I hope you know how to edit ini files well because you don't need a mod for this. Even youtube can help you on how to edit ini files. Go to documents, my games and Fallout 4. Open up your Fallout4 text doc. Hit control F, type in Decal and you should see a ini line saying something like fDecalLifetime=30.0000. You can then change the number to something much higher, like 9000.0000, which is a really long time. Save the file after the change and then enjoy your extremely long blood times. If you want even more fricken blood, the little murderer you are, follow the same instructions but instead type in iMaxDecalsPerFrame=50. Increase the number to something much higher, this I believe might affect your frames when looking at blood, because there is a lot more now. The hit of frames depends on how crazy high you set the number to, which most likley will be barely noticable. Good luck.

There aren't any that prevent decal fade entirely, that would be a fairly terrible hit to the game's performance over time. But I think you might be happy with something like Enhanced Blood.

So...

Do we split the +++++++++++rep then? ;p
Knight Siegfried Jun 6, 2017 @ 8:54pm
I believe each of us getting 1/4 of the rep would be quite fair.
Mori Me Coward Jun 6, 2017 @ 10:01pm
12 +'s so I'll give each ++++rep
