I personally only add a couple mods at a time, that way you can see if they work first.
Is this the first time you've added mods to FO4?
Did you add the 3 lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini required for nexus mods to work?
Do any of your mods work?
Are All your mods checked off under NMM's plugins tab?

Mods not working and a mod's assets being invisible are two different things.
First, assuming you Have added the 3 lines needed to your Fallout4Custom.ini so nexus mods will work, go to sResourceDataDirsFinal= and add STRINGS after the equals sign. I've read that that has helped a few players with invisible items.
Second, open NMM and click the folder at the top, then "Open NMM's mods folder". Right click on each mod that has invisible items, choose properties and under the General tab make sure the mod is Not set to read only.
