Weather Mod
Need a new weather mod. True Storms is really nice, I love the weather it adds to the game, but 18 days of rain in various forms is getting ridiculous. 2nd playthrough with it, and it's been the same both times. I'll go 15-25 in-game days with rain, showers, downpours, radiation storms, rain, etc then I get maybe 1 day of sunshine or overcast that turns back into more rain in the evening.

Would like a nice weather mod that adds more variety to the storms and such, but without so many days of rain and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weather. Anyone have any suggestions?

Vivid Wathers [www.nexusmods.com] Not ENB, easy NMM install, toggle weather you want. Works well with Darker Nights + Tactical Flashlights [www.nexusmods.com] :Miller:
The Rain sound is redone and can be difficult to see enemies when it's coming down pouring while the sun still breaking through the clouds. Really makes outdoor fights feel better

I'm saving Pilgrim mod for my serious Survival play through. When I learn to let go of loot and use my ammo wisely.

Honestly, I think True Storms is luck of the draw, completely random and unweighted. II have 30 or so game days under my cirrent characters belt, about 25 of which were clear or mostly clear (sometimes it only rains for an hour or two). The other days were dust storm (1), rad storm (2), and all day horrific downpour (2). I save these days for staying at home building and crafting. I also run timescale 6, not the default 20.

I'll have to grab that one. I tried Pilgrim for a bit. Really really like the look of it, but not in the mood for horror theming just yet. Can't wait to see them get the black goat in there though.

Yeah. I'm just the complete opposite. Lol. They tend to go from light shower to screaming downpour on a regular basis. With the odd radiation storm tossed in there for flavor. It's funny though because I swear everytime I start building up a settlement or spend a bit of time crafting, here comes the sun. Right up until I grab my gear and head out, then it turns into another downpour.

If your character sleeps through the night, decreasing timescale will allow more daylight gaming time. Of course that doesn't help if all you have is rad storms. :P

Yeah. I did enjoy the random ghoul attacks in the rad storms though. Got one, and I'll tell you, that was interesting. Might not be exactly lore friendly, but was pretty fun all the same.
