Playstation button in UI
Is it so hard for developers to include playstation-styled buttons as an option for the UI? Nearly all games only offer xbox buttons, like no one plays with a dualshock.

Respect for Heart Machine who actually did it in Hyper Light Drifter. Buy that game if you haven't!

No, developers do give a ♥♥♥♥. It's called indie developers, those who develop because they love gaming. You're wrong as sh*t.

Hell I'm a gamedev myself and would always include al options: mouse/keyboard, xbox and playstation.

Companies have a lot of resources. If some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy on the Internet like me knows how common DS3 on the PC is and could code better resolution support and non jittery foliage in my sleep with one hand tied behind my back while masturbating a cow with the other, From have no excuses.

This goes to all developers.
You honestly expect PC game developers to include the UI for a controller that is not even supported on PC? That's completely ridiculous.

You might as well blame the developers of the third party software that is required to even use those controllers on the PC.

It's Sony's fault that Playstation controllers aren't nearly as popular as Xbox controllers.
Not supported? Are you crazy. Not supported officially.

Here's a news flash buddy. Nobody gives a ♥♥♥♥. I've been using controllers for like 6 years now without issue. There are at least 4 unique programs that work with the DS3. At least 3 unique that work with the DS4 and some games support it natively. I could probably find this weekend more unique people that have a DS3 on PC in my home town that the entire team that worked on Dark Souls 3.

DS3! It just works!

And all you need to do to make it work pleasantly is add a small strip to a texture with some PS3 buttons. PS4 sold like 40 million units and PS3 sold like 84 million. Not to mention the PS2 that had the same buttons and sold like 150 million copies. With such total number of sales, one would expect a developer that is very buddy buddy with Sony who release games on the PC that work with keyboard and mouse, but work better with a pad to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ add a small strip to a texture and an option in menu. 30 minutes of work.

They do include the PS4 buttons, by the way. They're just not useable.

I've dumped and replaced the Xbox One buttons with the actual PS4 buttons that are stored (and funny enough loaded) by the game at start. The game loads these textures, but never uses them.

See this for the correct way to configure and install that mod:

There is many programs out there that allows you to use both dualshock3 and 4 on PC. DS3, DS4, Keymapper so on.... When windows 10 came out, you didn't need anything to use the dualshock4 on PC. It was just simple plug n play. (that means dualshock4 is supported by Windows. Today it's 12.21.2016/21.12.2016 and just few months ago there was an update for windows 10. That update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things up, so now we are back at the beginning with the programs
