And you basically thank them for this????? Mad World
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha you never can make people happy
If they would have removed vmprotect to make people happy they would have mentioned removing it in the patch notes. They would have made a big deal about it and said how much they care about our opinion and that they do what we want.
But did they do that? No they silently removed it since they dont intend to patch the game anymore. The patches they did were ♥♥♥♥ anyhow.
Basically so you get it: They didnt do anything to make me happy. The port without fan patches is still ♥♥♥♥. Nothing changed. the game still has a broken frame limiter, it is still 30 fps, it still has missing effects... i could go on..
So tell me smart guy what did the devs do to make me happy besides removing a drm that shouldnt have been in there in the first place?
Oh you cant answer? still feel so smart?
mad world
What if they removed it silently cause they knew people would complain about it still, claiming they shouldn't have had it there in the first place.
And before any smartass comes around and says the game was free i say no it wasnt. I still paid enough money for zestiria and getting 2 games for 1 price was maybe the deceisive factor for the purchase for some people.
Or you know you could slowly stop defending shady practices of publishers/devs ?
how long did the release of this game pass by ? It is still in a ♥♥♥♥ state and you still have the stomach to defend this.
Mad world
I for one dont complain but proof my point through arguments that sheep like you wont try to understand. We dont need to thank them they did let us down.
The game was in a ♥♥♥♥ state with drm. The only major thing thats changed is the removal of the drm prolly because they wont patch the game anymore.
So whats your deal how can you still keep fanboying
Oh i have an answer for everything, but you'll never be happy, ya ol' grumpy. So go ahead, complain to your heart content.
Tales of Zestiria still has a broken framerate limiter. So that's a rather stupid complaint. If QLOC couldn't fix it, Other Ocean certainly won't be fixing it.
Likewise, VMProtect isn't DRM. To the best of my knowledge, the game's DRM has not changed at all.
if i go to a restaurant i want a tasty burger and if the burger has bad meat i dont go researching where they get the meat from to later see if my complaşnt would be valid or the smart thing to do lol. It is their responsibility not mine.
I d rather say that you telling me that my complaint is stupid is the stupid thing to do.
Drm/anti temper whatever.
Other Ocean and QLOC didn't create that framerate limiter, and neither are qualified to fix it.
Honestly, I don't care why they did it.
I still want them to know it's appreciated, I'd rather reinforce positive behavior, even if it falls on deaf ears.
I really don't care if they stop patching it, the modders can take it from here now that VMProtect is out of the way. It isn't Ideal but it's preferable to the alternative.
What you should be rejoycing about is that the game no longer spits out temporary executables. This means that drivers and other software that requires a constant executable name to identify which game is running will work as intended.
They outsource the port have almost unlimited monetary means andcant make any company fix the broken frame limiter while you (half demigod) gaining nothing from it single handedly can fix it.
I think it is more realistic that they just didnt care enough to fix it instead of not being able to.(thats the whole point iam making anyhow they dont care)
proof of that? Yeah all the other downsides like still internally locked res that according to durante shouldnt have taken them much effort.
If they would have fixed everything but THAT i would have said that you are right. But it is obviously because of their lack of interest.
Prolly otherocean andqoloc just rush from one project to the other and dont polish the games long enough if there isnt enough motivation(money) behind it anymore.
Whatni gather from all your posts is that you are full of yourself:
i fixed the framelimiter but those companies cant.
I worked around vmprotect thats why they removed it (LOL They prolly arent even aware of that.)
But whatever kiddo go around and call others stupid while you make an ass out of yourself.
