Game won't start

So I tried to run the game many times and I'm still having this: http://imgur.com/CKy6KOH

So far, I tried :
-Running as an admin
-Kaldaien's fix
-Cut my Antivirus

None of these works.
Any ideas?

Yeaaahhh... I had that same issue... I just cut my losses and found another way to play it, though I havent been refunded for that steaming pile of disasterous code yet. I just got the game today and its a much better option, plus it runs nicer with better graphics <3.

I'd love to help, but I haven't studied French in 20 years. I can't read that.

The gist that I gathered was "The application cannot .......", the rest is greek to me.

Basically it says: The application failed to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

Ah, okay.

This is basically either missing Visual C++ 2013 or DirectX 9 redistributables.

I'd go into the _CommonRedist directory of Tales of Symphonia and run all that stuff manually. Other Ocean got it wrong when they initially shipped the game, I'm sure they didn't improve things much since.

Those three programs, ignore all the rest of the stuff because it's irrelevant.

Hello,

I am encountering the same problem except tha the fix is not resolving the problem.

When I start up TOS it tries to install DX only for the computer to report;

STEAMAPI_Init: failed.

Any help would be great thank you.
