21:9 ultrawide support?

Quick question - does this support 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratios? (for example, 2560x1080)

I just checked Youtube to see if anyone had any 21:9 videos on the game. I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-UnRS88dzE If the game really doesn't support 21:9 that would be sad. The 21:9 aspect ratio is being adopted more and more this year. In the video he clearly has 21:9 selected, don't know if he needed to edit any files to get it to run though.

Yes, in the video there's clearly an option for 21:9. I'm simply not seeing that. In fact, I have no option above 1920x1080 on 16:9.

That's weird. I haven't purchased the game yet since I wanted to see if others had severe performance issues or if 21:9 wasn't supported. I think I'll hold out some more.

Hopefully others with 21:9 monitors will comment on whether or not they're able to get it to display properly or not.

I should've expected this. Unity supported 21:9 perfectly. But Ubisoft Kiev did the port for this game. I swear to god, Ubisoft Kiev has got to be the single worst 'developer' on the face of the planet.

I'm in the same boat. Been burned too many times, nowadays I need to know if it'll work on my display properly before any purchases.

If the game doesn't properly support 21:9 I'm sure users will release a fix for it. Some triple A games ignore 21:9 users so people have to edit files to get it running properly. Though I will say, it's a damn shame that devs don't seem to care about supporting 21:9, I understand it's still a small user base, the thing is, it's growing fast. All in all, it's just them being lazy.

It is semi supported. Im playing it on an acer xr341ck. The proper resolution is not selectable in the menus, but it is auto detected properly. I dont notice any ui stretching either.

You can input a custom resolution into this config file. I'm not convinced it works though. I have a surprising amount of ailiasing for 3440x1440. Give it a try at least.

You can see how muddy looking the game is, even if you adjust the ini file. Clearly that's not 21:9.

That's a letdown. Might purchase it just to test it out, if it doesn't work I'll just refund it

Maybe it gets messed up if you change and save the display settings in game. I never changed mine since it was auto detected properly. Its easy to see if a game is stretched or not. This game is definitely playing at 21:9 for me. The map is a perfect circle, not an oval and the characters dont look fat lol.

I just captured some video, ill post a youtube link soon. The video itself is playing back at 21:9 so it does work :)
