Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS PS4 controller right stick will not rotate fully. I can get horizantal directions and if I press the l2 trigger it will 180 to the other direction but very limited.
If you are, try without. You can let Steam detect the device and let Steam do the configuration. Try and see if that works.
To be informative: "x360ce" is an emulator. (it stands for xbox 360 controller emulator)
If you're using a dualshock 4 controller, I recommend DS4Win (as emulator if you need any). Steam supports xbox controllers, dualshock 4 and other branches on itself.
It will enable Steam Big Picture mode by default (annoyingly) but that can be turned off in settings.
The problem you experience has to do with drivers and key mapping / binding. (it can be fixed by manually editting ini files sometimes, if you know the right location and code for the key, but sometimes you can't. ) I encountered it sometimes with x360ce in some games. I oddly have yet to encounter it wit DS4Win, but currently I just let steam do the configs usually. :p It saves problems.
The way that Steam's input mapping stuff is handled is slightly different here too, but that's definitely worth a try here.
Ya not the same in this environment as windows. Using what is built into Steam has worked on every game (including Steam Play titles), but this one and Mana Sparks.
You didn't find a fix then?
i had only once issues with it where i noticed that the mouse was still in the game screen ... so the game was probably still thinking "oh he plays with keyboard and mouse owo!" but after tugging the mouse corsor out of the window was it working as intended. i am a windows user tho <_< maybe the game has issues with linux n co. but to be honest. playing the game with keyboard and mouse is easier if you have a range build <w< on close combat build is a controller better tho @w@ (my opinion)
1. Close Steam.
2. Install SC Controller, https://github.com/kozec/sc-controller and follow whatever installation method is relevant for your distro of choice.
3. After installing launch SC Controller and select the "XBox Controller" profile.
4. Make sure SC Controller has detected your Steam Controller.
5. Start Steam.
6. Launch CrossCode and it should be fine. If not close Steam and make sure that the controller is properly associated with SC Controller.
In your Steam library right click on "CrossCode", then "Properties".
In the upcoming window go to the tab called "Betas", then from the dropdown select "nwjs_new" and close the window. Steam will then download the new NW.js version of the game.
I will try sometime in the future.
