Is there absolutely no way of seeing Quina again?
I'm rather far into the game now and just got to the part where Madeleine is gone which isn't cool since I now have plenty of money to get the better daggers. I just realized that I've never seen Quina this whole time and didn't realize that literally all my quests would be forfeit after the wyrm hunt quest was finished. I thought it was just referring to those portions and it didn't make it clear. So now I'm worried that I missed a lot of content and that I just flat out won't see her period and there's no way I'm starting over. Still, did I really miss any chance to see Quina again at all? Thanks for the feedback.

yeah its dumb that they never address this, but Quina is at the Abbey. She's a nun now apparently. The Abbey is located north of the Ancient Quarry and West of Gran Soren.

Shortest way I can think of explaining that Failing `Lost and Found` is no big deal (The quest that branches some of the content if you dont go after her when the cheif asks you)

I believe there's actually an escort quest you can pick up that explains this, but yeah, it's certainly not obvious.

There's a LOT of stupid stuff and hidden story you can miss without a guide.

And escort quests don't explain anything, do they?

You don't meet Selene and none of her quests will open so you miss a portcrystal and a whole area of witchwood. Also, the tablet for the Arisen's Bond is at Sofiahs grave...so imo "missing" L&F is a big deal.

Each to their own my friend. Theres always NG +

I guess `big deal` depends on whether you want to play the game as a big adventure and suffer the consequences of poor decisions or if you are going to sweat it because you didn't play the game `right`.

Personally I missed this out because I chose to Ignore my Pawn yattering on about finding her for like half an hour becasue I was curious about the Pawn Guild.

The Pawns do talk ALOT , but not all of it is idle chatter. Lesson learnt for my next playthrough.

It does when it's a quest bringing Quina to the Abbey, where she'll be for the remainder of the game.

Quin'a has scripted dialogue in her escort quest that builds on her side quest story line.

Well that's a shame....but the upside to this is I'll have new content to look forward to technically in my next playthrough. I wonder....do quests cover every area or is there a lot they leave up for you to choose to explore? Thanks for the feedback guys.

The game is a bit of a jump from the sort of storytelling people are used to. We tend to expect that NPCs will either be glued to a spot running their store or whatever until they die or else they have their backstory and plot development forced down the player's throat through cutscenes and mandatory quests.

There are, as I recall, quests that take you to most areas, but some of them are surprisingly hard to find if you don't know where to look.

About the only place you have no reason to go is the swamp SW of the Greatwall. You kinda go around it for Ophis's quest but it's mostly a dead area.

After you rescure her from Witchwood, you esscort her to prayer falls, later shes at the abbyey, right next to prayer falls.. Whats not to get?

ALot of "missing text" is also scribed on the descriptions of items in game.. SImilar to Souls. Listening to dialog, etc.. Ive not yet found any unexplained story items.. Unless you skip, dont pay attention, or dont read descriptions.. Its not a hand hodler..

Im also not saying its well written, at all... But all the information is there for you to discover..

The swamp SWof Greatwall.. You mean Ophi's camp? There is something tied to it as well..

Theres also a small encampment at the very back of the blinding swamp.. And its been a few yrs, but im pretty sure i had a reason to go to it. An item, or conversation thats only there if you do something previously..

Try this.. Achieve the Achievment that is to complete all non Notice Board quest content, THEN see if you have no reason to go anywhere..

It's one of Reynard's diary entries but there is no fricken way anyone would know it was there without a guide or the desire to wander into a ghost filled swamp late at night, as you can NEVER make the trip there and get to the swamp during the day.

Everything takes you around the swamp though, never really through it.

And the swamp is west of Ophis's camp, I think south of the cyclops feeding ground.
