ENB Mod loading times
I've heard of (and seen vids) of loading screens of upto 90 secs, Anybody tried running the game with ENB from SSD?

Went to about 6 seconds from 4 on my cheap HDD

It's not worth it. I uninstalled it. SSD, GTX 970, 32G ram, i7. The mod kills load times and it makes the game look slightly better. I'm waiting for better mods.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind

my game loads maybe 20 seconds on a regular 1 tb hdd. Probably like 10 seconds without. Honestly the server wait time you get when resting is much longer and more annoying. But of course its a matter of how impatient you are. If up to 30 seconds of load time is way too much for you its probably not worth it. Even with the first enb version i didnt get 90 second load screens though, so i assume those reports came from people who either have slow cpus (in case of which why would you need an enb?) or are very bad at estimating time passing.
Also it takes 5 seconds to install if you use a preset an see for yourself. Its not like uninstalling ENB requires reinstallation of the game.
here is the one i use, all you need to do is drop the content of the rar in the game folder and start the game

EDIT: accidentally dropped the steamapi.dll in there too, just be sure not to delete that if you uninstall the ENB files so your game doesnt stop working :P

Thanks. I did see one vid with a 90 sec loadtime, can't remember what the specs were though if specified. I may well give it a try!
This is the ENB/SweetFX mod I had been eyeing up previously:

There was a new version on the enb website that fixed the long load times, if its still too long for your liking the binding to disable the ENB is shift+F12, just disable it before you pass through a door and re-enable it after the load screen with the same key binding.

Long loading times happened with enb version 0295 and was patched with 0296. Feel free to use any enb 0296 or later.

Tried ENB 297 yesterday and the loading times went from 4 seconds to around 60, so totally not worth it for me. I have a 4.5ghz 4930K and 970

Right, finally tried it myself using the Kalicolas ENB / REshade pakcage. Didn't have that much of a detrimental effect on my load times, maybe an extra 5 to 7 secs off a Crucial BX100 240GB ssd. I guess it will also depend on which ENB preset is used, what effects are on etc. but maybe those who are getting really long load times are running off HDD and not SSD?

here..

load times are fine with new ENB and SSD

Read another way to improve the load times. If you enter enb console mode using SHIFT+ENTER and enable the FPS limiter to under 60 the load times improve significantly to just normal load times + 10 seconds or so. Totally worth it now.

The game takes an ungodly amount of time to load on my system, and I have multiple Samsung 840 Pro SSDs. It's not I/O-bound, but rather CPU-bound it seems.

It's pissing me the hell off as I am trying to develop an aspect ratio patch for this game and testing different save points takes several minutes to load.
